Hari Om! Thank you for offering flowers/prasad (FP) at Chinmaya Bala Vihar (CMBV).

- For all dates other than the Mahashivaratri, picnic, and year-end events, follow the instructions below.
- For the Mahashivaratri, picnic, and year-end events, families will be emailed in advance for the specific items to be brought or will be asked to make an equivalent monetary contribution of their choice in lieu of bringing FP, so that volunteers can make the specific purchases needed.
A reminder is emailed to families a week before their assigned date.
Be mindful: Prioritize your assigned date and avoid changes mid-year and any inconvenience to other families. In case of an emergency, email us your request for change with your child's last name, assigned date, and 3 alternative date options to reschedule your offering. Please be patient with the volunteers, as the process can take time.

INSTRUCTIONS
Arrive by 10:15 a.m. Bring:
1) Sweet vegetarian edibles for 100 people to take home - Ex: Any cut/whole, fresh/dry fruits OR packaged sweets (mithai, chocolates, candies); homemade items should be brought packaged (ziploc etc) NO gelatin-, egg-, or camphor-based products
2) Few fresh flowers from your home garden to place at the altar (or purchased flower bouquets; vases are available at the venue).
The prasad family is welcome to offer arati at the altar in the prayer assembly. After class, the prasad family must 1) distribute prasad to everyone as they exit and 2) stay back to help CM volunteers reset the venue.
