Registering for Chinmaya Bala Vihar

Chinmaya Bala Vihar

Chinmaya Mission conducts Chinmaya Bala Vihar (CMBV) classes and activities for children in Grades PreK-12 on Hindu culture, based on the universal philosophy of Advaita Vedanta (universal Oneness). The term and program of "Bala Vihar" was coined and founded by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda. Today, Chinmaya Mission's Bala Vihar program is conducted worldwide for thousands of children.

CMBV classes and events are par excellence. With the grace and blessings of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda and Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda, Chinmaya Mission's Bala Vihar program is exceptional and unique compared to any other. Under the guidance of CM Tampa's resident acharya, Brahmacharini Aparna Chaitanya, the discipline and growth of our students and trained sevaks are key, as are the exclusive teachers' training materials and lesson plans. Parents are highly encouraged to participate in the simultaneously held Chinmaya Adult Study Groups so they can spiritually grow and unfold with their child.

We welcome all students, of all ages and backgrounds, to all our Vedantic classes and activities, which focus on the art of righteous living, meditation, self-unfoldment, dynamic service, confident leadership, and lasting friendships.
